I. ITINERARY
DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP – SAPA(D)
Upon
arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be warmly greeted by
our guide and begin your scenic journey to Sapa, a mountain town nestled in the
misty highlands of northern Vietnam. The drive offers breathtaking views of
terraced hills, winding mountain roads, and traditional rural life.
DAY 2: SAPA – HEAVEN’S
GATE - SILVER WATERFALL – SAPA CENTER (B/L/D)
After
breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a delicious local lunch before continuing to Heaven’s Gate, the highest road pass in
Vietnam. From here, take in the panoramic vistas of the Hoang Lien Son mountain
range, including Fansipan – the “Roof of Indochina.” Feel the cool mountain
breeze and capture stunning photos from this awe-inspiring viewpoint. Next,
visit the enchanting Silver Waterfall,
cascading 200 meters down from the mountains. The waterfall sparkles in the
sunlight and is surrounded by lush forests, offering a refreshing escape and a
perfect nature stop. In
the late afternoon, head to Sapa town
center, where you'll check in to your hotel. Enjoy some free time to
explore the town’s charming streets and local markets before a cozy dinner at a
local restaurant. Overnight
in Sapa, ready to dive deeper into the region’s rich culture and landscapes
tomorrow.
DAY 3: FANXIPAN -
HANOI (B/L/D)
Start
your morning with breakfast amidst the fresh mountain in the hotel. After
checking out, transfer back to Sapa town to begin the highlight of the day: a
journey to the summit of Fansipan,
the highest peak in Indochina at 3,143 meters – often called the "Roof of
Vietnam." Ride the Fansipan
Legend cable car, one of the world's longest and highest, offering
breathtaking aerial views of layered mountains, lush valleys, and drifting
clouds. Upon reaching the upper station, you can either climb the final 600
steps to the summit or take a funicular for a more relaxed ascent. At the summit, take in awe-inspiring panoramic
views and visit the beautiful spiritual complex, including majestic pagodas,
statues, and prayer halls perched dramatically on the mountainside. After descending, enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant in Sapa before beginning your return journey to Hanoi. Sit back and
relax on the comfortable drive as you watch the landscape transition from
highland to lowland. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening and check in to
your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the city’s
vibrant Old Quarter or unwind after an adventurous day in the clouds. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 4: HA NOI CLASSIC (B/L/D)
Morning
Your
guide will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi at 8 AM and you'll go directly to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, including
Uncle Ho's museum, and the wooden ethnic minority house where he lived from
1958 to 1969. You'll learn about this important political figure and how he
shaped modern Vietnam. Next
to the Mausoleum is the One Pillar
Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has become an
important symbol for the people of Hanoi and a great photo opportunity. We'll
then visit the must-see Temple of
Literature – first university in Vietnam, built in the 11th century as an
homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius. You'll then take a lunch break at a
local restaurant.
Afternoon
In
the afternoon, our guide will take you to the Museum of Ethnology where you will learn about the 54 Vietnamese
ethnic groups. Here you'll be able to gain a greater insight into the diverse
cultures within Vietnam. Next, we'll visit the Ngoc Son Temple, set on a tiny island, on the picturesque Hoan Kiem
Lake. After
this, we'll explore the 36 streets of the Old Quarter by Cyclo, each named after the products that are, or once were, sold
there. This will be one of the main highlights of this Hanoi Classic tour when
you can have more understanding of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. End
your Hanoi tour with a traditional water puppet show before returning to your
hotel.
