I. ITINERARY
DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP (D)
Upon
arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be warmly greeted by
our guide and back to your hotel in Hanoi. Check-in
your hotel and free time to stroll around the Old Quarter. Your guide will pick
you up for dinner later from your hotel.
DAY 4: HA NOI FULL DAY TOUR (B/L/D)
Morning
Your
guide will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi at 8 AM and you'll go directly to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, including
Uncle Ho's museum, and the wooden ethnic minority house where he lived from
1958 to 1969. You'll learn about this important political figure and how he
shaped modern Vietnam. Next
to the Mausoleum is the One Pillar
Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has become an
important symbol for the people of Hanoi and a great photo opportunity. We'll
then visit the must-see Temple of
Literature – first university in Vietnam, built in the 11th century as an
homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius. You'll then take a lunch break at a
local restaurant.
Afternoon
In
the afternoon, our guide will take you to the Museum of Ethnology where you will learn about the 54 Vietnamese
ethnic groups. Here you'll be able to gain a greater insight into the diverse
cultures within Vietnam. Next, we'll visit the Ngoc Son Temple, set on a tiny island, on the picturesque Hoan Kiem
Lake. After
this, we'll explore the 36 streets of the Old Quarter by Cyclo, each named after the products that are, or once were, sold
there. This will be one of the main highlights of this Hanoi Classic tour when
you can have more understanding of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. End
your Hanoi tour with a traditional water puppet show before returning to your
hotel.
DAY 2: HANOI – HOA LU
TEMPLE - TAM COC BOAT RIDE – DANCING CAVE – HANOI (B/L/D)
Today,
we will visit Ninh Binh, which is a
1.5 hour drive away from Hanoi. Our first stop is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital
of Vietnam in the 11th century. Visit the Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Temple. Appreciate the unique
architecture and learn about the history of the first Vietnamese government.
After that, head to Tam Coc and begin the Tam
Coc Boat Ride. Tam Coc river is known for its famous title “Halong bay on
land”. Next,
we also will visit Bich Dong Pagoda –
a historical and cultural relic belonging to the Tam Coc scenic complex. Then,
move to Dancing cave mountain where
you need to climb up more than 500 steps to reach the top with a panoramic view
of Ninh Binh, Trang An and Tam Coc landscape. End the day by coming back to
Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI – SAPA –
SAPA TOWN WALK – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/L/D)
It
is a long trip on Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway from Hanoi. When you arrive, you
will have a walk around this charming town with your guide. Then, you will trek
to Cat Cat village. It is one of the
most attractive scenic areas in Sapa. Cat Cat is a lovely village with peaceful
views and distinctive customs and practices of the ethnic H’Mong. Surrounded by
rice terraces and rolling green hills, Cat Cat village is considered a great
place for trekking and sightseeing, to experience the way of life in the
mountainous area. Along the way to Cat Cat village, you may also witness the
picturesque scenes of Sapa.
DAY 5: FANSIPAN
MOUNTAIN EXPLORATION BY CABLE AND HALF DAY TREKKING (B/L/D)
Today,
get ready for the exploration of Fansipan
mountain by cable car. Enjoy the view of Sin Chai valley, Fansipan peak,
and Hoang Lien national park from the cabin. Following stone steps from station
to the top (40 minutes), then we will arrive at the 3,143m summit Fansipan,
celebrate the victory, sitting high above the hills with views of this stunning
mountainous landscape. After visiting Fansipan, the day continues with the
journey to Giang Ta Chai Village. It’s a very special trekking route. Giang Ta Chai village is home to the
Red Dao Trekking to Giang Ta Chai village through terraced rice paddies, bamboo
forests and stunning waterfalls.
DAY 6: SAPA - DROP OFF
AT THE AIRPORT (B/L)
Today
is a long way back from Sapa to Hanoi. We will stop occasionally along the way
to stretch your legs. Lunch will be en route. Seeing you off at Noi Bai
International Airport. Thank you so much
